Inbox Jones does not connect to your Gmail account. It does not read your email. It does not store your inbox. It simply creates Gmail searches and helps you work through them.

Inbox Jones never asks you to sign in to Google. There is no OAuth, no "connect your account" button.

✓No Gmail API access

The app does not use the Gmail API or Google Takeout. It has no technical way to reach your account.

✓No inbox reading

It does not read, scan, or analyze your email. It only builds search queries from the categories and keywords you pick.

✓No email content stored

None of your messages, senders, or contents are ever saved. The only thing stored is the keywords you type in yourself.

✓Progress stays in your browser

Your age range, categories, keywords, and completed/skipped missions live in your browser’s localStorage. There is no server, no account, no database.

About the Sidekick

> The Inbox Jones Sidekick runs in your browser and shows a small panel on Gmail. It does not send your email content to our servers. It only displays your current mission and tracks progress — the same non-destructive guidance, riding along while you dig.
